Can I adjust the temperature?

You can adjust the session temperature to your comfort level in the Umay app. When you receive your Rest it will be set to default settings but you can customize these in the Umay app. The Rest temperature range chosen is based on safe, tested, and therapeutic ranges currently being used in eye care. However, if you have never applied heat or cooling to your eyes before it may be a bit intense the first time. We recommend before starting your first session that you adjust the temperature to gentle in the Umay app. If you find the lowest heat setting ('gentle') still too hot, turning on the 'thermal wave' setting may feel more comfortable as the heat is delivered as a wave pattern that may feel less intense.
